Dr. Robert Clayburgh has been a practicing physician in the area for more than 30 years. He attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and commenced his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. After completing a hand surgery fellowship, Dr. Clayburgh began practice in Grand Forks in 1983. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery with an added certificate for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Clayburgh is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Clinical Orthopaedic Society, Mid-America Orthopaedic Association and the North Dakota Medical Association. He has served as Chief of Staff for Altru Hospital and on the Board of Councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Clayburgh is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
